Wild African Trek at Animal Kingdom

[Fort Fanatics]

Hello there! My DH and I are booked to take this Trek at Animal Kingdom and wanted to know if any other Dis'er out there have done this yet? I know that this is something new, and just started in January, but wanted an inside scoop on what to expect. We thought that it would just be cool to do something different!! We are checking into the Fort on the 22nd and doing the Trek on the 24th. Im sure no matter what it will be an exciting adventure!! BTW, what happend to my Disney countdown tickers??

we havent been on that but we were thru the safari a couple of days ago and noticed all the differant things up that are used for it. We seen a rope bridge going across the hippos and alligators theres a nice hut they built on the safari plains and we could see people in it and they were having lunch amidst the giraffes and other animals I think it will be a really good time thinking about doing this for my son and daughter in laws anniversary. have a wild adventure.
