really debating it, looks like lots of fun, I don't link hights or bridges lol, so I am not sure about that part, but would be able to overcome it I am sure

What are you thoughts on this tour, tell me the good and bad please :)
its $50 off of some of this tour right now (is for may 7th when i am looking)

Let me know, it would be for myself and DS 16 (who loves adventure:rolleyes:)

My mom (56 at the time) and I did this tour last April and LOVED IT!

It was the perfect amount of time, gave the guests plenty of opportunity to ask questions (the tour guides were so knowledgeable!), and we learned so much.

We really liked the hippos - you get to lean over into their pond (while harnessed in of course!). The snack they provide is also delicious.

We both highly recommend this tour to anyone who asks!

I guess another concern is the over $300 CDN it will cost, when I already have park admission just wondering if I should take in what animal kingdom has to offer without doing the tour. Hmmmm . . . .

I think it is worth it. My DH went a bit ago by himself. I too was afraid of the heights and the bridge. He loved it so much that we went together on our next trip and took our adult son and daughter in law. It is a once (or twice if you are my DH) in a lifetime adventure and well worth it to do with your son.
Have Fun

Just do it! It's a fabulous experience you will never regret!

We've done it twice. I took my oldest son and then a couple of years later we all did it again once his brother and sister were old enough. An absolute highlight of our trips!

Do it before park opening. When we did it we got in the park like 1hr before the gates opened so you don't miss too much park time.

I am another that's afraid of heights, but I did it (twice) and loved it. I did it the second time because I knew I would enjoy it even more after doing it the first time and being a little stressed about the heights.

Honestly, you are so secured that you will feel very safe.

It was a wonderful experience and, to me, well worth the money.

My mom and I went on it in October (it was her birthday gift). We loved it!!! It was absolutely amazing. I loved being able to take all the time seen wanted talking to the CMs in charge of the animals (especially the hippos!), being on a smaller vehicle that would let us take all the pics we wanted. The food we got (light lunch bento) was really good too! Our tour guides were very knowledgable and funny. The CD we got of her pics were great too. It was an awesome experience - once both kids are big enough we'll definitely do it again as a family.

Without a doubt, you should book it! After 2 trips to WDW, 1 to DL, 2 Cruises, and a stay at Aulani, my fiance still talks about how his favorite tour was the Trek (and we've done KTTK, VIP tour, and Cabana at Castaway Cay!).

I was freaked out by the bridge a bit, too, but with the harness and looking at how safe the bridge really was, there wasn't a problem at all :)

DH and I did it in December (2013) and loved it. You get to spend a significantly longer time around the animals, get a good closeup look at the hippos (and they feed them) and the alligators. They will spend a lot of time answering your questions. The snack was really good (quite filling actually) and the place where you eat it has great views.

You don't really need to worry about the height - you are wearing a harness so are in no real danger and the photos that they take are worth it.

Totally recommend it. I'd do it again.

We are considering doing this with my girls who will be 9 on our next trip.

We did this tour a couple of years ago and it was incredible. You get so close to the animals and get the guides are very knowledgable. It was worth the $.

My DH and I did it in October for our honeymoon. It was one of my top Disney experiences ever.... including getting to see the dream suite and Victoria and Alberts!
