So we are going to WDW 5/14-5/20. I logged on and did all my dining at 60+6 but for WAT it wouldn’t show anything except the first day. So now I just checked thinking all the dates would show up and I would have no trouble booking for two adults and it shows no availability for any of our dates??! Does this really sell out that quickly? Do people cancel? Any tips or suggestions? I will be so bummed if I missed out since we couldn’t do when we were there in the fall.

We just went this past week. It does sell out fairly quickly. There are only 12 spots in each Trek. I almost never saw any cancelations. There is one “paid” dining notification site that will check for Trek. I had a 8:45 and wanted 10:15.

it is likely you missed it :(

No, 10:15 never opened. I did see another 8:45 pop up for a short time.

Can you tell me which site? Or a really good hint if it’s against the rules? Or send me a private message? I checked the one dining site I am already paying for and it’s not an option on there…

Can confirm watcher works!! I was able to get WAT and KTTK. You have to be on these reservations though. Like phone near your hand when you get the text reminder. Saved password for MDE. Click through the prompts quickly and save payment info. Basically be as prepared as possible.

Can someone help with which DAY to be trying to reserve, right at midnight?
Is this like dining where you can log in at exactly 60 days from your check-in date and will be able to reserve for any day of the duration of your trip (up to +10)? I just want to be sure I've got this down....
TIA!

Yes. So, midnight between your ADR day and the day before your ADR day. 6 hours before ADRs. Midnight is always confusing. And 60+10 days.

TYSM!
I find the "60+10" adds to the confusion. I always want to take that as "sixty days prior to check-in, plus ten days prior to THAT" (which would effectively be 70 days prior to check-in). Continually need to remind myself that it really means "sixty days prior to check-in date, you can reserve for the length of your trip up to ten days" -- this is right, right!? See, even now I am second-guessing....!!! o_O

You are correct. 60 days before trip start and up to 10 days of the trip.

One more question: Do I have to already have a park reservation in place at the appropriate park before I book a tour? I'm thinking: what if I'm only able to get a tour on a day that I have a park reservation somewhere else. Will I be able to book the tour and then switch the park reservation? Or do I need to modify the park reservation first to have that park selected in order to book the tour? (it's getting late; I hope this makes sense!).
TIA!!

It's the same as an ADR - they're entirely separate. (A tour reservation doesn't guarantee park access.) Go ahead and book the tour, then adjust your reservations later.
