Family present this year will be the WII............should I just buy it now to make sure I do not have to "hunt" for it, or does anyone know of any black friday sales for this?

Last week Toys R Us had it for $199....that is the best I saw! Sometimes Walmart has bundles....but just make sure you get what you need...usually another controller/ 2 nunchucks...these all add to the base price.

We did the Wii & Wii fit as the Family Gift last year and after getting all the stuff we ended up spending about $450.

Get it as soon as you can, while you can -- the Wii is price-fixed across all retailers, everywhere meaning it won't go on sale (but, that won't stop some of the nation's biggest retailers from throwing-in something "extra", like a $20 gift card -- though I am yet to see this any of the "leaked" BF ads).

Nice, but there aren't that many Costcos in Missouri (where the OP is from) --just in the two big cities (Kansas City/St. Louis).

I was debating on the Amazon deal (buy Wii and Wii fit plus with balance board and get a $50 gift card) vs. waiting for something more fabulous...I should probably just buy it. I see Sam's has it for $194 like Costco, but by the time you add in tax it's not a bargain anymore. Of course, they do have the nice return policy...

I was just on mypoints looking for some other stuff and noticed that in the daily deals they have it listed for Overstock.com at $197.98 with $1.00 shipping and no taxes unless you live in Utah (what's up with Utah? ). Not the best price every but at 5% tax you'd save about $10.

Buy a Wii and wii fit plus: total: $288 and get a $50 Amazon gift card.

The Wii Fit is for ME, but don't tell the kids that!

no taxes unless you live in Utah (what's up with Utah? ).

Overstock.com is based out of Utah (its headquarters are in a city called Cottonwood Heights, near Salt Lake City) and so it has to charge residents of Utah all applicable sales tax.

I don't know if you have a meijer store near you, but they have for black Friday that if you buy the wii at $199, you get a free $50 meijer custom coupon (which is basically a $50 gift card but prints out as a coupon). Their ad is up on their site for Thanksgiving and the day after.

I hope so! I am still kicking myself over missing the October Amazon deal ($25 gc and no tax). I also have a $5 off $75 Target coupon so every little bit helps!
