I was just going through all of our Wii games to see what we have and maybe decide what to get for Christmas. I realized that I have the Wii "Walk it Off" I bought it back in January when it first came out and I do recall using it once (ok, maybe twice) but apparently it's been sitting on our shelf ever since. :lmao:

I would like to start using it and was wondering for those of you who have used it on a regular basis, how has it worked for you, if at all???

I also have the Walk Away the Pounds dvd's that are still sitting on my shelf and I'd like to start using these also since it's getting very cold here (not supposed to get out of the 30's this week) and it'll just continue to get colder. So what are your experiences with these?

I'd also like to know how that Walk it Off works for others.

As for the Walk Away the Pounds, I love those. I used them to train for my first half marathon last year. She's cheerful, but not annoyingly so. Very easy to follow and entertaining.

I don't have the Wii game- don't have a Wii, but I had thought that I'd like one for Christmas this year for fitness. However, after doing quite a bit of internet research I could not come across a single article that suggested that for someone who is already at least moderately active, that you can get any sort of workout from any of the Wii games. Apparently the only ones getting any "measurable" benefit are the couch potatoes.

As for the Walk Away The Pounds DVD, I have several of these and love them. They are good for an easy-moderate workout, especially if you use weights. I've used these in the dead of winter to avoid the cold as well.
