Does your DD already like drawing? We bought it and would not again. Not that there was anything wrong with the udraw...just that I can see that it is a game input that won't be used much by my son. He prefers the physical games and doesn't want to sit and draw.
My 13 year old really wanted it for Christmas. I noticed the other day that it was still in it's package never even used. I have no idea if it would be fun or not. The wii stuff is always on my girl's lists at gift time, but ours just doesn't get a lot of play no matter what I buy.
My 10 year old daughter received this for Christmas and really likes it. I wanted to by the two games that work with it, but all the stores around me are sold out. I am glad I waited because there is a $10 off each game coupon inside the box. My daughter does like to draw and played with it several hours. (She just received it Sunday)
My DD9 received it for Christmas. I also got her the 2 other games that use the tablet. She has used the art studio for hours. Definitely worth the $. But in this case she loves to draw.
The other 2 games have not been in the Wii console. But since I only paid $10 each I am not to worried about it. They'll get played with sooner or later. I think that it's just the case of to many new things at once.
My 11yo dtr loves hers and she and her friends like to play the pictionary game that she also got that works with it. I have to admit that the adults have had some fun with the pictionary as well!
DD 11 got it for Christmas and has played with it a little bit. Personally I don't think it is worth the $$. I wouldn't be surprised to see it drop in price shortly.
My kids really like drawing on it. The pictionary game was a big hit at DS's 18th birthday party. They got another game for it but haven't tried it yet.
