Wii Remote problem Help, Please!

I just put one of those covers on dh's Wii Remote. It was working last night, hasn't been played all day. After I got the cover on, dh turned it on for ds to play Zelda.... and all 4 little blue lights on the bottom started flashing. Dh says change batteries. So I did. Still flashing. It won't do anything on the tv screen. It won't turn the console on/off. We've tried synchronizing it. Still, nothing.

Help! What's wrong? I've flipped thru the books and can't find anything about all four little blue lights flashing.

We had this happen and the batteries were dead. I had to turn off the system w/o the remote and then turn it back on and it started working. I went into a panic b/c we can not find extra remotes.

we unplugged the system and plugged it back in. working now! *whew*

I had that problem, too. Just turned the console off manually and then turned it back on and it worked. Didn't tell DH, though. I didn't want him to think I "broke" it already!!

Why is everyone relieved to find it is dead batteries? We have been having the problem of the remotes not working, it bothers me that the batteries are dead after only a month.

Should we call Nintendo about this?

ours died 3 weeks after getting it but it is the batteries that came with it and we used it a lot! So it doesn't surprise me a bit.

The batteries last about 30 hours with all of the features turned on.

You can get better battery life by turning off the Rumble and lowering the volume in the Remote Settings menu before you start a game.
