Wii making ringing noise, like microphone feedback....

When we turn on the Wii all we get is a loud ringing noise coming through the speakers, and the games don't load.... any ideas other than it might be broken?

Sorry I don't know what it might be, but my suggestions are to check all your connections and make sure they are tight, and if that doesn't help then unplug it and let it sit for a couple of minutes and then plug it back in and see if it's any better.

Nintendo is really good about customer service so if neither of those things help you should contact them and see what they say about it.
