Set your shipping to "Free Store Pick Up" for no shipping charges!
HURRY, this will likely sellout. If you can't find at your local store, try other nearby stores.

Be aware that walmart had a huge fail today. It's all over slickdeals. TV's for $8. Treadmills for $30. Books for $3. The site's been up and down all morning as they try to control the damage. Slickdeals is already reporting some cancellation emails, so likely anything ordered in this mess will get cancelled.

$8 tvs?

I spotted the crazy prices at about 5:30 this morning and so we managed to get a bunch of things ordered before it was all shut down. We made sure to get right over to the store and pick them up ASAP this morning too.

i saw this on FB earlier. the website wouldn't let me order, so, i wonder if i could go to the store and price match if i have the screenshot on my phone...

I doubt it. It seems they are not even honoring the ones that were ordered.

ugh. guess i'm out of luck. figures. i'm going to have to start checking this page every morning when i wake up! lol

Darn! We already gave the disney infinity but $8 TVs! Wondering what else was mistakenly priced?

That's a good idea right there! They're not going to ask you to bring the product back! :cool1:

Just read an article about this mornings "technical error." The Walmart spokesperson was quoted saying that they were going to see if there was a way they could recover the merchandise that was grossly underpriced. I'm not a lawyer but it seems like it would be a little difficult.

There was also stuff that was way overpriced. I need the furreal monkey friend and I checked on it once I saw the prices and it was showing up as $369.99. And it is normally $59-$69. Lol

I don't see how they could ask you to bring it back if they sold it to you at said price then let you leave the store with it. They can't just "change their mind" can they? I want lucky enough to get anything today but good deals for the people who did

That is crazy! Who cares if it was underpriced, that's what they had it marked as and that's what they sold it for. I'm sure they aren't tracking down the people they OVERcharged! I would think for PR reasons they would let those who purchased things keep them.

They need to seriously get some better people proofreading their ads and any changes made to their systems... They said that they weren't hacked, but it would almost make them look better if they said they had been!

They won't be able to recover the items that already left the store in the hands of customer. However, they would be able to stop any shipments already sent out and cancel any orders not yet filled or picked up as long as they give a refund.
