Just got one from 'The Source' (Radio Shack) by calling their telephone centre. Super easy, picked it up at Scarborough Town Centre today - 3 days after ordering I think. They are $269.99. Thought I would let you know if you are thinking about a Christmas gift in video game form

You got lucky. I've been to at least 18 stores in the past five days looking for one. Most times, I get laughed at when I ask.

I'm pretty upset with Nintendo for raising the hype on this system with their advertising, but not being able to supply them to the stores.

Most stores are recieving shipments weekly 25-35 units atleast per shipment the problem is they sell out almost as quickly as they can get them on the shelves.

So I guess I should count myself lucky that we got one..... we bought ours at EB a few weeks ago and it's safely tucked away for Christmas. EB said they are getting them in constantly and they are selling out pretty quick too. We tried everywhere else that had bundles advertised that same day and everyone was sold out.... that's why we grabbed what we did when we found it. Bundle only saved about $20 anyway! Paid with our credit card too so we would get the extra year warranty!

I also paid $269 for the unit. Got the Wii play game with the extra remote too.

Can't wait till they open it and I get to play with it

It took us almost a month last year to get one, we ended up getting it at a zellers in another city in a area that was in a lower income area.
Toys R us is also a good place to check. The flyers come out on friday and they normally will hold 20 back for Saturday am for the flyer but any extra they have they will put out. 2 weeks after we got ours we were in a ToysRus and they had 5 left over above the 20 on hold for the next day. Worth a shot .
Costco has had them and they have been on thier website too. Goodluck finding it. Seems like its going to be like last christmas again.

we had to get our on ebay - same thing store after store after store. They didn't laugh at me, but their answer was "not today". Grrrr. I can't wait until Christmas either!

I bought ours last Friday at Best Buy. I paided $269.00 as well. I asked the day before and they told me that they were getting in a shippment of 100-110 and would be sold out in 24-48 hours. We got lucky and got one. It was for my husbands birthday and we just love it. Oh and we are not video game people.

Colleague of my wife pick one up for her kids today at the Best But, Bay & Dundas in Toronto,told DW about the Wii's at. At opening BB had 20, by the end of lunch they were sold out.

DW wanted to know if she should head up on her lunch hour to pick one up. I told her not to bother.

I'm at home in Mississauga and checked Wal Mart, Best Buy, Costco.... SOLD OUT.

I did stop at EB games near Sherway Gardens. Jack Pot. Found a Wii system with one controller. Picked it up. They have 9 Wii systems left

I was in Wal mart tonight (Winnipeg) and they had tons of Wii s for $269.99. I had ds with me so DH went back this morning and picked one up for Christmas. Kim

got mine from Costco.ca, well I ordered it and it said in stock.... so we'll see.
329 plus $9 shipping but includes 2 remotes and 2 numchuks. I'm going to check out Zellers for the Wii play, that includes another remote too so it is a good deal.

my , I mean my kids', wii arrived today. I was at Costco the other night and they had 40 in stock, no extra consoles though, for 269. The on-line deal is better, I think, even w/ the extra shipping. $9 for the convenience was worth it.
I plan on getting wii play in Buffalo, it's 49.99 there on bestbuy.com.

So far our kids are getting wii games for X mas to go with the Wii they got last x mas. They are getting Pirates of teh Carribean, Cars, Meet the Robinsons, Surfs Up, Dance Revolution, Boogie, Highschool Musical sing along and Hannah Montanna and Mario Galaxy.

My ds bought the WII last year and has several games. He bought the dance mat last night. It really is fun but a little difficult. I need to get the beat down. It is great exercise.
