Can someone point me in the direction of what is the best when using the Wii Fit? I have the Wii and want to buy the Wii Fit to go along. Can someone give me a Wii Fit for Dummies lesson please?? I am in horrible shape and overweight, so where is the best place to start with the Fit?? Thanks!

The thing I like is that you can really do it in small doses, the one we have has yoga, aerobics, strength training and balance games (which I stink at), it will also do your BMI and weight. Fortunately I have a 8 year old who walked me through some of it and I just sat with it one day when the house was quiet and "played". If you have a teen, preteen in your life, frankly, they'll be your best bet to set everything up. They play with wii all the time and if they don't have it at their house, they definately have a friend who does. Good luck I really love it.

with anything it depends on how much you put into it. it really can give you a good workout if you try really hard! I have the Biggest loser game and so far I have found it to be the best "real" workout of the "games"

good luck!

I lost quite a bit of baby weight with the Wii Fit, I really don't get much time to workout, so I just did 30 minutes a day. I only did the Aerobics area just because I wanted to get the heart pumping. I would do 10 minutes of Step
(2 five minute sessions) 10 minute of Super Hula Hoop, and 10 minutes of running. You might have to work up to some of those sessions, in the beginning some of the times start out shorter.

Just got Wii Active, seems like this might be a good workout too, because they just pick the activities and it keeps going without having to stop and change activities.

I have the Wii Fit and the Wii Active. I am NOT a workout bunny at all. The Wii Fit is really good about walking you through the excersizes with a personal trainer and you can modify to fit your needs. i.e My aunt walks through the run program b/c of bad knees and she still lost 30 lbs!

I found the Wii Fit is more suited to me right now because of lack of excersize ability but I still break out a good sweat. I do Cardio for 30 mins Strength for 15-20. Yoga for 15 and some fun balance games. I space it out through out my day. In the morning. When kids are napping at night before bed.

The Wii Active just about killed me. I threw up after my first work out:lmao: It was really hard but very easy to figure out. I am hoping to work up to the Wii Active in a couple of weeks on my Fit!

I love my Wii!!:lovestruc
