Just came back from my local Big Lots and they had an endcap bin full of Wii games for $18.88 each.

Wow -- thanks. Glad I didn't buy any games yet. I want to check out reviews of them online first. Then I'll go back by Saturday with coupon in hand.

I saw these, too. I think these are the same ones that ToysRUs sells for $20. Still a good deal if you have other discounts. But...they are unwrapped and you have to get the actual disc when you buy it. I didn't like that part of it.

They had DS games at my Big Lots, too. I think they were $13.88.

what the games were? Not sure I understand about the unwrapped thing.. so they can't be used for gifts?

thanks

As far as stock, I was really only paying attention to Wii games, since that's the system I have. I was particularly interested in Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz (how's that for a name?) but noticed a Barbie game (not sure which one) and several "boy" oriented ones. Sorry I didn't pay closer attention to the names.
It's true that the display holds empty boxes. The store clerk I spoke to assured me the games were new (not re-conditioned or anything like that) and when I was ready to purchase I needed to go to the customer service and request the game I wanted. I'm just assuming they were shrinkwrapped but can't confirm, if that helps any.
And yes, there were also DS games but again, don't have that system so really wasn't paying attention to the selection.

You take one from the bin to customer service so they know what one you want. The copy they give you is sealed.

OK, here are some we saw, but there were more..

Lego Starwars, Batman and Indy
Cooking Mama
Circus Games
M&M Beach Party
Petz Sports
Petz Wildlife vet
30 Great Games
Six Flags
Disney Princess
Raving Rabbids
Nick games
Thrillville
Sonic zero gravity

There were more.. we used the 20% off no problem.

Also check your local Wal-Mart. Mine had several of the above posted games for $10!!! I was thrilled!!! I picked up Cooking Mama-Cookoff, The Sims Party, High School Musical 3 Dance games, etc. Also had DS games for $5 and $10, XBOX and Playstation 3 all for $10.

I bought Deal or No Deal for the Wii & an a touchscreen MP3 player for Christmas gifts. The game is new & sealed...used the 20% coupon no problem at all!

Will have to make a visit to our Big Lots. I haven't been there in years. We need an extra Wii remote - has anyone seen these at Big Lots?

The Big Lots near me definitely had a section within/near electronics that had the Wii accessories.

Thanks for the link to the coupon! I didn't buy any Wii games, but I did save $17 and got alot of stuff I needed.

so bummed, stopped at Big Lots at lunch...they are relocating so everything is being liquidated. Nothing worth buying, I was really looking forward to getting a deal on wii games! The new store will not open until November.

Yea!! Dh just found 2 Wii games for us!!

Paintball and he found 2 pistols for $5.00 each,

and

Ultimate I Spy.

Big lots said they had another shipment of games arriving soon.

It is Pro Paintball 2009!! and it is fun even for someone older!!

Ultimate I Spy is fast becoming a family favorite, too. The items to be found are hidden easy to hard. We have loved the challenge so far!!

Just wanted to thank the Op and the person who posted the 20% off coupon!:goodvibes I was able to pick up Lego Star Wars, Petz Wilderness Vets, and a Family Game Time (had horseshoes, jarts, etc.) for about $15 each. :woohoo: Put them away for Christmas.

My Big Lots didn't have some of the ones already listed, but they had Madden 09, a Diego, a Dora, Deal or No Deal, and...can't think of anymore.
