Has anyone been to any of the resorts recently? Had head that they were all going to have free wifi. Would love to know as we're leaving in a few weeks.

They had it working (although it was pretty spotty) at All Star Music in March.

I was at AKV in January. The WiFi was pretty lousy in the rooms. I had to move to the lounge area to get any kind of consistent service. Forget any kind of streaming like Hulu, Netflix or Youtube. But you can read email, surf the Dis and Facebook, and make/cancel your ADRs.

hmmm...that answers one of my questions. does anyone know if you can get wi-fi in the parks? i want to get a new cell phone, but no data plan, so, i'm wondering, if my phone was wi-fi capable, would i be able to use it in the parks?

I was there the week it went free and the fridges were put in our rooms at POP, No problem with connections. The home page for the resort comes up and accept the terms.

There is also a hard line in the room if that helps.

No free WiFi is available in the parks. You may see some networks show up but they are password-protected.

Thanks for the info. I be the lobby areas are strongest for the wifi. Has anyone noticed that?
