We're coming to AKV this Wednesday and I was wondering if anyone knows how the wifi is working. How many devices per room will be covered, or should I bring my router?

From what has been posted, the wired has been disconnected. I tried my router at BWV two weeks ago and it would not connect. The wifi at BWV was fine most of the time and we had 2 laptops and a tablet. My friend with the tablet did have some problems connecting.

We just came back from Kidani the end of April. WiFi was working fine. I think we had 2 or 3 devices going at a time in a 2 BR.

I guess I am just unlucky. My Kidani room has intermittent wifi. Frustrating.

We were at AKV Jambo in April and our Internet was spotty..

We stayed in Kidani Village at the end of April/early May. I tested the wifi connection a few times with speedtest.net and consistently got 1Mbps down, .25Mbps up. Not great but it was OK for checking email and reading and posting here. DH checked and there was no wired service in our room.

My wifi at Kidani was spotty for the first 3 days. It kept cutting out. I called the tech line twice. Now it seems to be better, although I still can't upload photos (maybe if I lowered the resolution on my camera I would have better luck).

My wi-fi in Jambo is working pretty well. If I'm not active for a while, I have to log back in, but I stay connected while I'm on.

I'm in a GV in Jambo and wif very spotty.....keeps losing the signal especially on my work site and have to log back in....called MS and no response. Also, our "savannah view" is only able to be seen if you stand on 1 of the balconies and look over the trees and around the corner.....mentioned this as well. Otherwise everything is wonderful (except the flamingos are noisy), but I'd rather be hearing them over motorcycles any day :)

This is sad, especially since I will be at Jambo in 2 weeks. I had a great connection using my travel router with the ethernet at BWV in March. Our wifi at GF in March was great, as well . . . but that is no surprise. Oh well, I guess we will just have to deal with being less connected for 9 days. I guess we should be happy that were not at the Super 8 (where we would have an excellent wifi connection).
