Hi there!

We are leaving soooooon *happy dance* and I was wondering how strong is the WiFi in the LM rooms at the AoA resort.
I'm coming from Canada, just added the US data package but it still is pretty expensive...so I'd like to know what to expect in the rooms.

Thanks :)

Mixed reviews some people had lot's of dropped service hard to connect issues. Some people had none.

A few said that they called the help number and after that it cleared up the problem (thinking someone may have adjusted thier pod or boosted the power).

Unfortunatly I think people are not factoring in the sheer number of people who may be trying to connect at the same time in one resort. I'd say try at different times and see if you get better coverage 'off peak' and once you find a good time, stick with it.

(I say this because we offer free wi fi and most of the problems reported come during the busiest times of the day)

We just left yesterday and found it spotty, at best. Often it would just not work at all and other times it would come and go. Cell reception was bad as well. We felt a bit disconnected... not that that is always a bad thing ;) 4G was fine by the pool. In the rooms it was awful. We were in Triton w a parking lot view.

I used it back in September and it was spotty at best. Using the wifi through my iphone worked well in the pool area of the LM section but in my room (building 8 facing pk lot - so as far back as you can go) was not very good at all...kept loosing signal a lot... but overall wasnt that bad since I did spend THAT much time in my room... you will love AOA have a great trip :thumbsup2

Too bad Disney didn't figure out the strenght they needed when they offered wifi in rooms!
Shouldn't be offering something you can't even use!! Its unusual in a way as in WDW, you usually get the best!
We shall test it out ourselves in 10 days!!! :))

I stayed in a Cars Suite and had to do some work on my laptop. The wifi kept disconnecting. I called tech support. I was asked for my IP address and was told to allow 45 min. and then try again. After that, it worked for the rest of our trip. My cell phone kept dropping calls. I had to stand by the window in order for the calls to not drop so I just used the speaker on my phone.
