WIFI access in DLR and DCA?

Ok so my DH, just upgraded our Mac with the new iPhoto which features Geotagging. It's a feature that logs your position and incorporates it into your photos. It makes it easier to see where you were when you took each picture. He recently found an SD card for our digital camera that can upload all the pics to flicker, facebook, etc. automatically! It does the tagging and the uploading by using wifi hotspots. My DH's question is, are there free wifi hotspots available in either resort. It uses them to upload as well as determine position. Anybody got any ideas?

I do not think there is. I hope there is so I can use my Iphone wifi. I will defer to the experts.

I don't know about the parks but I do know that there is WiFi in the Grand Californian Lobby which would be an easy place to go if you really needed the access.

Ditto at the DLH (including the rooms), although that would not be of much help if you need it in the parks. However, there *may* be WiF access in the parks, as I remember my wife's iPhone catching WiFi; I just don't remember if we were at the hotel or in the parks at the time.

They have a discussion on this matter. DVC carts use internet so you can sometimes get wifi there. Innoventions might get through. As far as I know the only official public access sites are the hotels and all others are Disney owned for Disney use.

Back in 2006 there was a discussion about it and the first link mentions parking lots of hotels having wifi.

All three hotels have free wifi in the lobbies and lounges. Also the Dream Suite in theory has wifi.

DVC wifi is locked up. Not unless you know how to hack a WAP encryption, you have no luck. You might be able to get something around ToonTown or Pizza Oow Maw Maw via PP.
