Wifes B-Day

We are spending 5 days at the CBR and MK,MGM and who knows where else for my wifes birthday.

First she doesn't know we are staying at the CBR she thinks its some dive off site. So thats the first surprise.

What I am looking for are any suggestions.

She lives in Ohio with the kids and I live in Florida taking care of my parents. We see each other about every other month so I am looking for something really unique and special.

This is a no kid trip just the 2 of us.

First thing I'd do is get her a birthday pin - they are available (free) at the 4 theme parks or DTD (guest relations). She can wear it the whole time and celebrate her birthday all 5 days.

How about a nice dinner? Someplace you wouldn't normally go with the kids - maybe the Cali Grill or one of the Epcot restaurants - Le Cellier, Rose & Crown, etc.?

Maybe a trip to the spa? It can be expensive, but maybe a facial or massage?

A few years ago I took my DBF to WDW for his birthday and arranged an Illuminations cruise with my bro & sil, plus a few other DIS couples...

If you tell the hotel it is her birthday they will bring balloons and a card to the room. It was my birthday 01/09 and we were staying at POP and my daughter had this done for me, so sweet...

Although it is very expensive. Victoria's and Alberts at The Grand Floridian. The dinner experience of a lifetime. If you do some research into it, you will see what I man by"a lifetime". This is amazing.
