Wierd!

I was in SS 2 weeks ago and today I received an envelope from WDW with a copy of Wall Street Journal dated 1/11/09. Nothing else! Does anyone have a clue what this is all about?

I once got a box from Disney after a trip with some kids toys in it, that weren't ours. In that case, I assume the family after us left them there and by mistake they mailed them to us instead of them.

It sounds similar, but why would they bother to send you the newspaper and it was from this week, not when you were there -- I have no clue, that's a strange one definitely!

They probably thought you forgot it and mailed it to you. Although it is an old newspaper, they don't know if it has any value to you. Whoever found it thought it might.

we've gotten KTTW cards and $1 in Disney Dollars mailed to us.

Like the others said... it seems like they are good at returning items. We left a toiletry bag at AKV one time and about a week later we got it back in the mail. We didnt even know it was gone.

It was a nice touch of guest services.

I sent 2 boxes home from Disney in May. Imagine my surprise when about a week after our return I received not 2 but 4 large boxes from Saratoga Springs. Well, 2 boxes were definitely mine and 2 were not. I immediately called SSR and sent the 2 misdirected boxes back from whence they came. About a week later, to my sheer delight, a huge box was waiting for me courtesy of Disney. Inside was a ceramic mickey holder with kitchen utensils, a dish towel and a photo album. All beautifully gift wrapped. The gift card read, 'Thanks for helping to spread the Disney magic'.
