Widowed Mickey searching for his Minnie

I'm a widowed dad(43) of three great kids, DS 9 and twin DD 6, living in Scarborough. We're all Disney crazy and looking forward to our first DVC trip next May.

Unfortunately, being a single dad doesn't allow for much time in the way of dating searches, so I thought I'd try out my fellow DISers.

Just looking for someone to share my Disney passion, and maybe a nice night out to dinner that doesn't have to involve kids menus or Chuck E Cheese.

Didn't know about it, but we've already got plans for that weekend. I'm taking my son to the Bluejays game.

I hope I'm not doing something wrong by posting this thread, as I know it's off topic. Just thought it might be a good place to find a woman with similar interests.

Somewhere on the Canadian board there is a thread of singles. I can't find it at the moment.

This is probably a good place to meet someone with your interests. If you read other sections there have been quite a few couples who met on DISboards.

Divorced Minnie here, 37, from Kitchener. There are a few singles threads over on the Adult and Solo Traveller boards, as well as a relatively new dating site started by DisneyDadNY, a fellow diser...www.disdates.com

Not a whole lot of us from Canada, but the threads/dating site/chats from that group of Disney-minded have resulted in about 8 or so engagements/weddings/long-term relationships! The groups change as new people join in the fun, and there are some great die-hards that have been around for a few years too, really great bunch of people. I had the pleasure of meeting a few of them in May 2007 on one of the "singles" trips (which seems to be an annual thing now) and we still keep in touch here and on facebook.
