The widest lens that I have is a Nikon 24-70 2.8. I am considering buying a Nikon 16-35. Is a ultra wide angle a lens that Dis photographers use a lot in the parks or is the 24-70 mm wide enough?

I'll think you'll be fine with the 24-70 unless you are planning to do a lot of landscape photography when you're not at Disney. I wouldn't purchase one just for the trip or maybe rent one?

Check out the exif info on some Disney photos on Flickr. It will give you a good idea on what the average zoom most people are shooting at.

16-35 is ultra wide for full-frame cameras. It would only be wide angle on crop camera.

For ultra wide on crop, I think Nikon has a 11-24 lens.

I love my Canon 10-22, but was almost $1000.00

I am guessing you have a full frame camera. If that is the case 85% of my photo are in that range the others are with the ~10% 70-200, ~5% with my 14-24mm. This was based on my last trip. Weight becomes a issue quickly.
