UGH.

okay this is just going to be a pity party, feel free to skip over it.

BUT...I was SUPPOSED to be going to WDW with a good friend this february on our spring break...she's a DVC member, plus i had 4 days left on ooold old passes (pre-expiry stuff) and waterparks days, so I'd have just had to pay for my flight and food while I was there....sounds perfect right??

In fact, I save a LOT money this summer so that I could afford the horribly expensive airfare and be able to buy lots of souvenirs and whatever else I needed.

Well, she goes to a diff. uni from me, and our SPRING BREAKS ARE NOT THE SAME!!!!
Hers is the week AFTER mine, so I can't go anymore

I am so sad and nothing will heal my broken disney lovin' heart.
Any suggestions to cheer myself up??
I have over $4000 and nothing to do with it. lol

But since you don't have New Look over there then idk xD
Umm.. is there any theme parks near one of you? 'Cause then one of you can go visit the other one of a weekend or something when you're both off and go there?

last year, matt and i went to disney on my spring break. he missed a week of classes, but it was okay. he didn't miss any tests or anything.

see if you could still work it out after both of you get your syllabuses in the spring, and if neither of you have tests when the other is on spring break, still go!

Save it! Its always nice to have a little extra 'dough' lying around.

BTW, ever since I've been in college, its always been in a PITA to get together for trips with friends who go to schools, and yeah it is a bummer.

If you're die hard on going to disney, would you consider doing it on summer break?

I'd probably save it until I could use it towards a trip. I'm assuming she's had this trip booked for a while, otherwise you could probably just go once you got out of school (the weather would be nicer, but the feeling wouldn't be the same as spring break).
