Why's it gotta be so hard?!

(Excuse my grammar ) All I want to do is put a little pic of me in my signature. My server AT&T WorldNet? offers a DIY web page deal, but it is so hard to figure it out! I feel like I need a class or something! Is there any really easy was to do it?! I never even completely figured out the Dis web pages...the pictures I uploaded from My Pictures on my hard drive ended up HUGE!
So how do you guys do it?! Did you learn by trial and error or have you had special training?!

Unfortunately, it seems that every ISP does their web sites differently. Sometimes the things that they do to "make it simple" just make it harder since they sort of force you to do it their way.

For me, most of my computer experience is trial and error. I did get my degree in Electrical Engineering and did take a few computer courses but there really weren't that many computer courses when I was in college. I just loved computers and I've spent a lot of time around them pretty constantly since about 1974. Even spent the first couple of years out of college desiging computers.

So just keep at it and it will start to make sense after a while.

Bob, you're always so helpful...I really appreciate it. Well I got it uploaded onto the website--it sure looks big on the page--I'm afraid it will be too big for a signature pic, but I'm going to try.

Must be at your ISP. It isn't that they aren't allowing hotlinking as I can refresh the page and get the picture to show up.
