I have just notice this; You know that pin you just bought for 1000 credits thinking well if I can not trade it to anyone I can use it as extra credits when I need them. Wrong. That pin is only worth 30 credits what gives. It should be worht at least 300 or 500 credits. I used to buy things and if I needed extra credits I would sell. Not any more. That Tiki fountain 800 credits I think I get 30 for it as well. Most of the stuff is 10 credits. What gives. Is this a clich becuase it does not seem fair. It is better to buy lots of pins for 25 credits then you at least get 10 credits back. I am not happy with the sell back program any more. Does anyone else see this a a bad turn in the game.

Thank you for my rant.

Sort of agreed.

I would think that you should not buy anything, ever, with the plan to sell it back. Better to just keep it in the form of credits.

If I had to guess, I would think that the poor sell-back credit ratio is to minimize the ability to transfer "wealth" from one character to another.

With cloning being as easy as it is, building credits up through "non-legal" (for lack of a better term) methods has caused the need for the low buy-back tip of the scale. Expensive items were supposed to be much more rare than they are now. With the huge glut of items active in the sim (it's not a game), trading has come to a point that only rare items are being sought after or items that can not be purchased being sought after. This was never supposed to be and it's too late to fix. The only way they could come up with to combat that is make items essentialy "worthless" credit wise after purchase. I came up with a better method, but they never listen because they are too worried about showing off new trinkets rather than fixing bugs and plugs.

With 1500 credits available every 8-12 minutes, they still haven't solved anything by reducing the buy back prices.
