Why would I be booted from public room?

I had my character in Castle Gardens and I stepped away from the computer for a few minutes and when I came back it said I had been booted. Why/how did that happen?

I bet it was Host Phinny, no offense, ) I think she boots people when they go afk even from a room.

Check your inventory and see if you got something.

Only hosts can boot from public rooms.

well when I got back in the room, VMK Bubbles was in there so maybe she booted me for being afk. I didn't have time to ask her anything because she was saying goodbye to everyone. Does that sound like something they'd do for being afk? Oh I checked my inventory in case Hula had been there but nothing again.

Why would they boot for being afk? That doesn't make sense...

This is a guess, but if enough people report you for blocking they will come check it out and boot you if they feel you are. Iwhile they can boot anytime, they would usually only do it with reason.

Hmm not really sure why VMK_Bubbles would have booted me. I didn't think I was blocking anything. I always try and make sure I'm out of the way.

Maybe people were on a quest and you were blocking one of the little object thingies they have to collect? That's a possibility.

Yup, I was given the grand old boot by Bubbles. I had stepped away from the computer and when I came back, I had the boot message. I heard later from someone that Bubbles was in Storybookland that afternoon, so my guess is that is was her that gave me that magical DREAMY boot.

I'm not sure why though.... I was standing the middle of the room.... no blocking... and gee, I would like to eat now and then

thats just ridiculous. You talk on VMK and they ban you for using words... so my charachters do not really talk... ever... I would send a message to contact us and report your unfair boots from a public room for no reason whatsoever.

If I ever get booted by a host from a public room, that is EXACTLY what I would do. I would also follow it up with an email to Yavn's boss and a call to VMK Ops

Well hey - it's not as bad as going afk while you're in your room that had a myself lock, then coming back to see you were booted from your own room along with getting a message from HOST_Lily saying the following: - giggle -

It was because of the lines why they were booting people. The rooms were full, and causing a line, so then the rubbernecks got into line thinking they missed out on something ROFL. Anyways thats why there have been afk'ers being booted.

They are booting, obviously, people sho just do not say "hello" to them. There are alot of people who are not afk that do not talk, yet they boot people for no reason. That is rude, mean and totaly against the spirit of this Disney Dreams promotion. I most certainly WOULD take Disney to task when faced with poor customer service. I am the kind of person who speaks with Corporate Vice Presidents when taco bell messes up my order, that kind of thing. If everyone else took a stand in a similar way, the customer service would improve. If you just sit there and take their garbage, they are going to continue to give you garbage.

Right, I am not going to patronize a business which thinks it can take advantage of me. Thats how you sum it up. If you continue to patronize a business after it repeatedly takes advantage of you, then who is the one at fault? Them or you?
