What a lousy day here in Philadelphia....ICE ICE baby. My dd's Soph Hop was cancelled she is so disappointed. What happened to the beautiful weather from Wed???

I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!! Just miserable today AND my DS is upset! Monday is his birthday - today was SUPPOSED to the the Saint Patrick's Party at school - but because school was cancelled it's now rescheduled to... Monday.

He's been counting down the days to his "special" day at school and has been going back and forth between cupcakes and brownies and finally settled on brownies - and now he's mad that it's going to be ruined - lol

I tried telling him we could do his birthday at school Tuesday instead but that
didn't go over well.

I am with you...It was 83 yesterday here and today it is not even 50....it is getting colder by the hour....what is going on????

Same situation here in Ohio. It was 70 the other day and today I had to get my winter coat back out. I'm done with cold.

Right now I hate the weather there . My dh is there on business and was due to fly home tonight. We have a big bicycle ride tomorrow-Tour de Houston and I'm scheduled for a hysterectomy on Tues. The earliest he would've been able to get home is Mon and that was best case scenario. He called the Continental back and got an agent who took pity on our situation. He's having to rent a car and drive to Richmond VA where it's just raining and there's a flight out tomorrow AM. While we'll miss the ride (but we can do another on Sun-it's training time here in the south) he should be home tomorrow. He just called he got a car and is creeping down 95 at 3mph-guess traffic is terrible. Please Disers say some prayers to help get my hubby home!!!!

My girls go to a Charter school, did not close but they were encouraging early pick-ups

DH got on the only SW flight to MCO that actually left PHL today--at 6:30 this morning! He was originally ticketd on a 1:20 flight. I'm very glad that he decided to get up and head to the airport to try to get on an earlier flight. Tomorrow is DS's 21st birthday, and they have a day planned together doing "guy" stuff. Kegs and peeler joints are not involved much to DS's disappointment.
