Will someone PLEASE explain this to me???

Why does my husband INSIST upon coming into a room, turning the channel, watching for 2 minutes, then leave????

WHY????

I just dont understand!

I dont WANT to watch basketball. I was quite content with entertainment tonight. Thank you very much!

And because I know he will read this over my shoulder...
Just kidding honey, you know I love you ;)

We have 2 wheel Tuesday, we turn it on and promptly fall asleep, but if you dare touch the remote it's "hey I'm watching that". Uh huh yeah right.

Husbands.............. can't live with them and you can't kill them.

Well... technically you can kill them:teeth: Getting away with it is the hardest part though1:teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

My DH goes into the bedroom, turns on the tv, turns it up really loud, then gets in the shower. He still can't hear it so why does he do this?

Because he's a man, that's why!::yes::

bj, The secret to changing the channel after they go to sleep in the recliner is to turn the volume way down, change the channel, then slowly turn the volume back up. I think it's the change in noise that wakes them up. Works every time, hehehe:teeth:

Hey, thanks. I never thought of THAT!!! My DH does that ALL the time. And what is it with switching the channels when there is a commercial? I just get into a show and then there is a commercial so he changes it to another show that we start watching but then have to change it back...it drives me CRAZY!!! It's like he allergic to commercials or something! :bitelip:

Just get a 2nd remote and hide it beside you. You can make him think TV is broke by just holding the button down and making it skip multiple channels. He will get frustrated and go watch TV in the bedroom - well works for me!

Actually we have opposite problem, he likes to watch that stupid CNN or C-SPAN, like that is important. I mean how can you live not knowing the Minn just kicked KSU's butt. NCAAW tourney is rocking.

Now if UCONN men can go to town like the women could be a sweep.

Oh, HONEY, I feel your pain. That drives me nuts! He'll change the channel when a commercial is on, but then get engrossed in another show so that by the time he remembers (or I remind him) to turn back to the original show, we've already missed two or three minutes. ARRGGHHH! Good thing I love him :p

The TV is pretty much his domain, so I tolerate it. I lived perfectly content with three channels for several years, since I had pbs and an NBC affiliate. Had to get Direct TV before he moved here, though!

It bothers him that if he's watching something I have absolutely no interest in, I'll go find a book or hop on the computer. Oh well, I'd rather not watch anything than watch bad TV.

I only have one must watch show. ER used to be the other, but there's usually something racing related on at the same time, so it never was taped for me (I always work Thurs night). I am happy that the must watch (Good Eats) is a must watch for him, too.

I like that volume trick! That'll work.
