why were they taken away?

i have always wondered why they took rocket couches away in the first place? i should know i've been a member since beta but i guess i never asked anyone this before can someone fill me in?

they started the in park quests then and now they are in the in park quest for single use codes. I guess they did not want too many around or something........

To keep VMK interesting they have to change things, add things, take away things. If you eventually bought everything, would you keep playing? If you bought, say, a rocket couch...you can trade it to other people since it is no longer available. That makes it "valuable". Gives people incentive to trade things.
