Why was Sept left out of AP rates last year

and if the dates for the new rates (through 8/28, if/when they do come out) are correct, why are they leaving Sept out again? I understand that they can always release them later, but now they are possibly putting out this new 7 for 5 Fairytale pkg again, which extends through the fall. The Mickey Moniter comes out in May, then I believe the next one is late Aug/Sept. Didn't they learn last year when Sept had low attendance? I thought the purpose of these discounts was to draw people to WDW. I understand they will want to see how many bookings will come from this new pkg, but will they do their calculating after Sept, when it's too late? To word my question properly, knowing the past Fairytale pkg (which was a better deal at 7 for 4) did not fill up the parks/resorts in Sept, wouldn't they also want to draw more guests in by offering an AP discount. Guess I'm just having an AP discount meltdown. I would be fine with them not offering the discount, if they would just let people know for sure a bit more in advance for the slower periods.

Actually, I think the reason that no discounts were offered was that they were very successful in filling up the parks for Sept. That may not be the case this year, as the 7 for 5 is not quite as good a deal. But it's not uncommon for Sept. discounts to be released later in the summer anyway. Even if Disney were positive that they were going to have them this year, I would have been very surprised if they were released this early. I wouldn't expect them until late summer. So, in short, I wouldn't worry about it too much....yet.
