Why the change in balance due dates???

Hi all!

I know the online booking system is going through changes but what gives?

I booked a reservation online in June arriving 10/1 for 8 nights. I have the printed confirmation showing the deposit I made and showing the balance due at arrival. So far so good. Well, I had never booked online and got a wild hair and went in today and pulled up the reservation online. Now it shows that the balance is due September 1st! 30 days out? Huh? I will probably pay it off before then, but what if I wasn't planning on it and I never went online and checked the reservation?

I intend on calliing CRO but am curious to see if anyone has experienced anything like this?

I know when I made my room only AP reservations this year I was told by CRO final payment due upon arrival, but my confirms all said due x number of days prior to arrival. I called just to make sure and noted on my confirm who I spoke with at CRO so no issues at arrival (of course I paid it all off before I arrived, but still better safe than arrive to no room).
