In February we ate at Polite Pig for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the smoked fried chicken sandwich. It was smoked chicken that was then fried and served on a bun. It was so good. We were there a few weeks ago and on the first day we arrived we went straight to the Polite Pig and ordered another, or what we thought was another. The name was slightly different, fried chicken sandwich, but the sandwich was completely different. Now instead of the smoked and fried meat that we loved it is now a regular fried chicken sandwich that is just dipped in bar-b-Que sauce. Don’t get me wrong it is an OK chicken sandwich, but the old one was an exceptional sandwich that was different than any chicken sandwich we had ever had. Just very disappointing.
Hopefully, they will change it back. It was such a delicious and unique sandwich it would be a shame if the first one had is also the last one we ever have.
