I am sure going to get flamed for this question....but here goes? Why is it that the board is innidated with stuff about church and the Bible and Christian radio, etc only on Sundays???? :confused3

I have been noticing over the past couple of months that most of the stuff having to do with Christian religion and beliefs only pops up on the day of worship?

Goodness...people are gonna hate me now.....

Why would anyone hate you for asking that?
I think the answer is simply because people tend to think more about church and God on Sundays than any other day. Should they? No, not really, but they do.
Let me use myself as an example. I do post two or three church / religious posts every Sunday. We have services here in my home on Sunday morning, so before I start getting ready I like to come on the Dis, post a couple of church related questions. Then, later when we are finished with our service, and everybody has gone home (which often times is about 3 or 4 in the afternoon) I like to come back and see what people have said.
Sure I would love to see more posts during the week, but I've noticed that more people respond more positively on Sunday.

Thanks, for your answer, I can see how you are probably right about people being more receptive on Sundays.

People don't like to be questioned about their motives...especially when it comes to religion. So, for the past three weeks I have post-poned asking my question to be sure I was not just imagining such an influx of Christian comments on Sundays.

I just think that many Christains fall into the "one day" a week mentality.
I know I have fallen into that catergory on occassion in my life.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm a Pastor, and even I find myself at times fighting with this same thing. Often times I get so caught up in "my things" and "my problems" that I can forget to stop and think about the things of the Lord. I'm glad to see that you are honest enough to admit it, many people wouldn't be, even though it is a very natural thing.
I always ask my congregation, how many of you would be willing to have a big feast on Sunday, and then not eat anything else all week? And yet so often we do just that spiritually. We depend on Sunday to fill us up for the week, and never get anything else all week long. Not the best way to grow up and get stronger is it? Yet how often am I guilty of doing just that myself.
