I just don't get it. The poor kid will proabably lose both his parents very early in life. Sometimes, I think medical "miracles" have gone too far. For women, of child bearing years, I think fertility treatments have opened many doors for them that would have been shut. But in cases like this, I think its physician ego and selfish parents.

ITA agree with you. I can understand the yearning to have a child but once you reach a certain age I think it's time to just let go...plus, she already had 3 grown kids. Wonder what they thought about their mom getting pregnant so late in life?
