Why Oh Why me? -Long Story-

Why does this always happen? Why can't ugh! Let me explain.

My friend Irena called me earlier to see if I could go to the mall. She told me she was also going with some of my good friends Kellie, Anna and Mary. She also said she was going with Arianna and Erin. Now Arianna and Erin are really popular (kinda in a snobby way) but they really don't judge me. Although I didn't really know those girls that well I decided to go to the mall. Who would pass that up anyway?

(Two Little Backround note before I continue: I have long blonde hair and blue eyes, and I'm a bit short. Another thing I recently transfered schools about a year ago and really don't talk to the popular kids. Mostly just the friends I hand out with)

So we head to the Mall and I was excited because I needed a new outfit for the dance coming up at our school. So we start through the Mall and Irena, Kellie and I are all talking about things at school, when they decided to bring the topic up of boys.

(Another side note: I don't like to hang out with girls so much because they never shut up and can annoy me to death, so If you ever meet me you'll probably see me hanging with the guys. I mean they really don't gossip. Nothing against anyone of course)

So they start talking about all their dates and how fun they had. How they kissed a guy and so on. SO they keep talking about how they had all this fun etc. Then they come to me and ask. "So -insert my name- Have you been out with any guys latley ?" Asked Arianna. " I said yea, I do, I hang out with guys all the time." Then Erin says "I bet your lieing. No guy would want to come close to you!." THey both laugh and we walk on. I don't really care because well it was one stupid thing

We go inside a star and I find this pretty top. Irena and Kellie encourage me to try it on, and when I come out of the dressing room Irena and Kellie thought it was really cute. So we we're talking a bit about it and it something like this

Me: So you really like it?
Irena: Yea it's really pretty
Kellie: All the guys are gonna want to dance with you
-insert smile on my face-

So then I hear this really hard laughing. It's coming from Erin and Arianna. US three head over their (they were like three feet away from us) and I asked them why they we're laughing so hard. They chuckled a few more times. Then their face became dead serious. THey stand right in front of me and say this

Arianna: Well you wanna know why we're laughing?
Erin: It's because we don't see how any guy would ever want to dance with you
Arianna: Your face is disturbed, why don't you get plastic surgury
Erin: What's with your chest, do you stuff it so you can wear a size D?
Arianna: I heard your a whor*
Erin: Oh yea I remember hearing that from all the guys in our class
Arianna; Your so ugly Even I'm having a hard time staring at you.
Erin: You have such stupid taste, that's why everyone mistakes you for an orphan.
Arianna: You know what I don't even know why you wake up in the morning. IF I were you I already would have comitted sucicide, I mean who could stand looking at THAT in the mirror.
Erin: Theirs no make up in the world that could cover up that big nasty zit on your fore-head.
ARianna: You know what? When you sing you sound like a pig snorting (Actually many people tell me I have a nice voice, since I was the main part in many mucicals)
Erin: You know what? I bet we'll be the one's getting all the valentimes this year, we are soo hot
Arianna: Unlike you who will get a big fat zero
Erin: Why don't you just go home loser
Arianna: And get out of our lives, It would make us so much happier.
Erin: You know how fat you are????

She ran over to like a shirt rack and got the largest and uglest style they made. She handed it to me and said, hmmm, looks like a perfect fit. They laughed at me even harder.

SO my friend Kellie and Anna like snap in their faces which they reply back to by saying LOSERS and laughing. Then as i Left, Arianna grabbed my arm I pushed her into a rack. She grabbed my arm even tighter and said "I'll get you back for that.We left their and I just went home. I got a phone call from this dude who's like my best friend in the world. He's like yelling at me saying "I can't believe you would do that. I am all confused for I have no idea what I did. He starts yelling at me because of a lie Arianna and Erin Spread. He hangs up on me before I can explain anything.

I feel so low right now, Any advice or comments would be helpful.

Wow those two girls are real b******. I had people spread rumors about me before. I just ignored it. I didn't invite them, my friends did. I'm not sure why though. I mean those girls have never made fun of me in the past. They were like nice. So I really didn't believe their was gonna be a problem

My advice is to ignore them. The fact that they talked about superficial things (appearance, rep., etc.) just contributes to the fact that the things they said were feeble attempts at raising themselves up by putting you down. They have no other ammo than that because you never did anything to them and they have no good reason to insult you.

I am sitting here with my jaw open, unbelieving that anyone can be so cruel.

If they had to sit there and list off all of those pre-fabricated insults, that means they obviously had to plan being so mean. A)They are not smart enough to come up with insults on the spot, idiots. B)Who does that? I mean serious,ly how much more can you say "I'm such a loser and have such low self-esteem that I need to beat on someone kind and sweet and trusting?" C)I know it probably hurt so badly, and to say "Don't worry about it, they're just jealous" isn't going to make the pain go away, but try not to let it get you down too badly, because they are the ones who are going to be paying for it later in life. Obviously they're jealous of you hun. I'm having a hard time believing girls would say those things to someone's face. Explain what happened to your guy friend and just let it be. What goes around comes around.

Okay,,,,, don't believe me but, I know it happened. I mean I want to thank everyone for saying these kind words. I mean I have a few reasons why they might hate me in the first place since

a) I supposedly "stole" there part in a musical
b) I became friends with someone that hung out with them and I guess it's just there group, but who know?
c) they just love picking on people. I got things straighted out with Evan (that's the guys name) of course after I explained he knew i was telling the truth.

Today was tough though in school. A bunch of kids just like we're laughing at me but what can you do? It will probably be forgotten by tomorrow,,,, I hope.

Man, if I were you I'd just slap dem girls in the facee.
Seriously, DON'T EVER IN YOUR WHOLE LIFE LET ANYONE LET THEM TREAT YOU LIKE THAT. That is just wrong. Wrong. Wrong. If them girls come up to you again I recomend to just walk away and call them low lifes because you know what they deserve a big slap in the face for that and I'm dead serious. But, when stuff like this happens it's NOT acceptable.

My thoughts exactly, PUNKD. That is totally unacceptable, its not only completely rude, but its childish too. Regardless of your age, race, looks, gender, sexual orientation, which social group you belong too- nobody should ever be treated like that.

Like PUNKD said, never let anybody treat you like that, because you deserve better. Those girls have no right whatsoever to take away your power and make you feel like crap, nobody does.

Ignore them, and keep in mind that what they said to you is not going to prevent you from graduating, having a family of your own one day, or living a great, respectable life. What they may have said to you is just words, and although we know that words do hurt, maybe in a different way than physically, they are just things said. When you're older, its most likely none of what they said to you is going to matter.

Just remember that the fact none of your friends were going along with their behaviour, means that those girls were standing alone. They were fighting a battle they have already lost, because you didn't crumble.

Chin up girl, we've all been bullied at some time or another; you aren't alone there. I have never been bullied to the extent that it sounds like you were, but once this ''popular'' girl stopped in the hallway after school and said: ''eww, eww there's something on your face!'' and then she started laughing. What I'm guessing she was referring to, was the giant zit that planted itself on my forehead that morning. I had tried to hide it with coverup, but there's only so much that make-up can do. I just shrugged it off and I don't care what she says, because me and my friends just laughed about her; the only reason she doesn't have zits is because she hasn't even developed yet . She, like the girls who teased you, are just jealous of what they don't have.

Shrug it off, and hang loose. Don't even waste your time giving a crap about what people say to you. Besides, the ''popular'' crew will probably end up frying your burgers, or cleaning your toilets one day, he he.

Plus, there are people that care about you in your life, and you don't need to hang out with people that are so insecure about themselves that they have to put you down. Always remember that there are people who care about you, and who you can turn to for support when you need it.
