I just wanted to know if theres a reason why disneyland doesnt offer a bbb typ thing for the boys? I realize that it may be a bit more in depth as to dress wear and costumes .,but something like pirates would be fairly simple and really cool. i belive that wdw offers something like that ? correct me if im wrong.. i would just like to hear your thoughts

BBB does offer a package for boys. It conatins hairstyle, sword and a shield...like a knight package. No pirates though at this time.

I don't know if they do or not... but I'm definitely not interested in paying $60 for them to put some gel in my son's hair and dress him as a pirate. pirate:

Yep, the knight's package which I believe is less than the girl one and involves gel, hair confetti, a plastic sword and shield. I do wish they offered the pirate/mermaid makeovers like WDW does outside PoTC but c'est la vie.

They do a boys makeover, I have no idea of the cost but at BBB they do spike their hair and the boys get a sword and shield. They also have a boy makeover at Disney 365, I've seen boys come out of there with mohawks and funky colors in their hair. BBB does not charge $60 for a boys makeover. :)

Before reading my report on it, know it wasn't a happy report. DS's hair was too long to spike without looking silly, I was having reactions to it which were feeding DS's reactions (I realize this now), and it just took way too long. They will slick the hair back, if you don't want it spiked, but all the spiking had taken so long we coudn't seem to get ourselves together to reverse course.

I've forgotten the $ details, but allears says "Knight Package: (for boys) includes a hairstyle with colored gel and a shield and sword. $12.95."

My guy was happy to be in there when he was 4 (I think that's the birthday we did it for), but at 8 I doubt he'd want to set foot in the girly environment. Sigh. So take your son's age and temperament into account!

My son did the Knights package when my daughter got all gussied up and it was such a good deal.

The sword and shield were really good quality and to buy the same sort of thing just separately in the park is way more than 13 dollars.

My son loved his hair (he got a green fauxhawk with confetti in it) and although he wasn't allowed to play with the sword in the park, the shield and sword are played with almost daily here at home.

My son LOVED this. Hes almost 12 and wants to do it again. They even add their name to the shield. Totally worth the 15ish bucks.

They need to bring The Pirates League to DLR *both my kids had a blast when we visited the League in the Magic Kingdom in 2009. My DS would never step more than 2 feet in a BBB; not now, not 4 years ago.
