Why Not a FITS Ticket

$300 for unlimited admission (with park-hopping privileges) to all Disney parks for a month. What is the catch?

The catch is that they expire. FITS passes expire 30 days after the first use and the first use must be by a specific date. Currently available FITS passes expire on May 31, 2004.

We used the FITS passes during our Easter trip. They were great! We were free to come and go as we pleased, without worrying about "wasting" a day on our hopper passes.

We didn't make it to any water parks this trip but we did go to Pleasure Island and Disney Quest twice.

Disney isn't allowing Ticketmania and Paramount to offer these tickets anymore. However, Paramount has the 10 day passes. They are the same type of ticket, but they cost a bit more.($348+ shipping)

Disneyjunkie, Are you sure about the fact that FITS tickets are not available? I spoke with Paramount yesterday afternoon, and they were still available then.

They won't be available after May 2004.

I wanted to use them for our Christmas trip, but I'll have to get the 10 passes instead.

I came across a thread on Monday or Tuesday saying that ticketmania will no longer be offering some of the disney passes. The 30 day pass was one of them. I called Ticketmania after reading the thread and they confirmed the information. I later came across a thread about the 10 day pass. I called Paramount and was told the information I posted above.


My understanding is that Paramount still has the 30 passes that will expire this May. After those are gone they won't be able to offer the passes.

The person I spoke to at Ticketmania said Disney asked them not to sale the passes any more.

I'm wondering how much longer we'll be able to buy the 10 day pass.

Do you know if FITS will be offered in Europe? I've got a friend who'll be studying in Italy this summer, so I have a reliable source(address), if need be.

I have not seen any info one way or the other about the FITS passes in Europe for next year. However with the dollar a bit weak, it might end up being much more expensive. I know when I was first looking at them I checked the Europian sources that were listed on mousesavers and if I converted to US$ they worked out to be about $400.

I spoke with Paramount last Thursday, and she said they would probably have the new FITS tickets by May 1. She told me to call back at the end of this month. I wonder if they have changed now?????
