Why No Tinkerbell Autograph/Photo?

I wonder why they don't have Tinkerbell giving autographs and photo opps.? Given the character's popularity I would think they would (my DD is severely addicted!)

I've only seen her in parades.

Yes, that is the explanation I've been given too!

If you would like a really nice tinkerbell background there is currently one at DCA in the Animation building. It is in the room with all the concept art, where you exit after taking the 'art of animation' class. You can get to it from the main lobby without going through the class. It's not a live tinkerbell, but it is very cute. I'll see if I took a pic of it and I'll come back to post it if I did.

Sometimes when you take pictures with the CM's @ Disney land, they will have everyone put your hands together and digitally put Tink in your photo. Well, at least they used to before the Photo Pass thing. I am not sure how they work it now. But, it is neat when you go see the picture and Tink is "magically" added in the picture...

The only other time you will get to "see" Tink is at the Dreams Come True Fireworks display. It is wonderful and every bit as cool seeing Tink fly magically through the sky as it would be to see her in person.....

Hummmmm..... Tink signed DS6's book

It was on the last page -- must have been while he was sleeping?? She signed with a really pretty glitter pen and put stickers all over the page.

I was in line at Costco, I think, and the checker saw some of my Disneyland junk on my purse. Got to chatting about Disney. Then she said, that she wanted Tinkerbells autograph. While at DL, they told her to go to city hall at a certian time in the evening to see Tink. She did and got Tinks autograph. I think it must have been after fireworks. So check it out. This was just earlier this year too so not like it was YEARS ago. sooooo

Yes, we got dreamed this year! It was pretty tiring running all over DL and CA trying to use all of them, but we did it!

We will definately have to check it out next year, when we return (did I say NEXT YEAR?! That sucks... ). My DD would FREAK OUT if she got to meet Tink.

Hey..... don't try fooling me! You are the Super Mom that does not "let" her kiddos get autographs or collect pins!

I don't know if this is right or not but Tink doesn't talk and most "face" characters do talk so maybe that is why. As you probably have figured out the costumed characters are not allowed to speak but all of the princesses and characters that show their faces CAN interact with guests and since Tink is that kind of character they probably think people would get mad or something if she didn't respond. Again this is just a guess but I agree. My daughter is NUTS about tink and I would LOVE to get a pic and autograph as well and I def think she would be VERY popular so I have wondered myself but this was the only thing I could think of why they wouldn't do it.
