Why no Star Wars Weekends at Disneyland?

Does anyone else think it is weird that Disneyland doesn't have any special Star Wars Event.

I think it's a missed opportunity by Disney because Star Tours seems to be more popular in California, and Star Wars merchandise seems to sell out fast.

You don't even need a parade. Some additional walk around characters, dance off, adult Jedi Academy, and the fireworks would work.

YES, I wonder the same thing. Why doesn't DL have a SW weekend like WDW?

I totally agree. I would be all over a SW weekend in CA. like I need another excuse to go to Disneyland...

Simply put: they don't need to. DLR doesn't need the draw to get visitors.
