I have never been to the world before, but have been to the land many times. I was so looking forward to a Monte Cristo sandwich. Why don't they have them?

No idea why they didn't have them before, but now they won't fit into WDW's new "healthy eating" drive.

They're still sold at Disneyland.

WDW did have them many years ago. It is one of my favorite food memories from my first visit in 1987. They were on the menu at CHH in the MK. I know they must have been there for at least a few more years because we enjoyed them again on at least one later trip. I still miss them! :sad1:

I thought my dd ordered one once at Chefs de France. Would have been about 5 years ago.

Chefs de France has a "croque monseiur" which is the same type of ham and cheese sandwich, but toasted, not deep fried.

Does it come with the jam and powdered sugar on top? If so that might have to suffice.

My 1st time in the World I was horrified to find:

no monte cristo
no hand dipped corn dogs
no tigger tails

:scared1:

I did find comfort in a butterfinger cupcake though.....:rolleyes1
