Going to WDW in 2 days and and ready!! BUT, I know I am upset by the hours of the parks, but PLEASE tell me why less fireworks? I thought they were every night, but only 3 times in MK when we go! Please help, is it Disney cutting back?
GEESH, go up on ticket prices, cut back hours and fireworks.....
I guess a topic for the debate board..... OH well, can't let it get me down! WDW here we come.
Maybe I could buy my own fireworks, set them off in the parking lot................. LOL

Not sure how related this is, but the transportation of fireworks within the U.S. is much more difficult and costlyu due to the overall new security regulations since 9/11/01.

If I remember from Corey Sandler's 1998 edition of Econoguide, WDW did not have fireworks each and every night during the off season.

Like early entry (surprise morning) WDW can always add fireworks and extend hours on an impromptu basis if the park is crowded. But to schedule and advertise it in advance and then not perform would be a much bigger letdown to the guests.

I think part of it is the earlier park closing hours. They can't have fireworks if they close at 7:00 or 8:00 in the summertime, it isn't dark.
