Why keep items out so long?

Does anyone else remember when a "Special" Item was only there for a couple of days? I miss that. It seems like VMK has moved away from making a few "Rare: items and replaced them with expensive items.

Just my 200 cents...

Well, I need the week to build up credits to buy a fraction of the stuff I want, so I appreciate it. Then I shop, brings my credits back to way too little and repeat above process.

A week is not long.......

Well, the costumes are only out for a week. And more than likely won't be re-released for a while. So they will be rare again.
Also the Halloween furniture is only out for this month. Giving everyone a chance to decorate their rooms. After that, it probably won't be available until next year, if then. So it will be rare yet again.

Also please remember that there are always people selling off unwanted furniture, people leaving without giving or trading away their furniture, or people just coming into the game that will want these items.

Plus, the pins are still for the weekends only.

I agree, a week is fine. My problem is with items like the everest costume that has been out since Feb. and the HSM costumes.

If they are going to be out that long, why not add them to the regular clothing section...

Clearly they have overstock on these items. I would guess the purchasing clerk is sweating it out hoping nobody notices the screw up.

Some items oddly move to regular after months in specials.

They either have no rhyme or reason to their methods or we as simple park visitors could never understand the process. Could be a definition thing on “specials”

THe Everst clothes are in the regular clothing section I believe, and I think that the red dance dress from HSM is no longer in the Emporium Specials. I guess I need to check and see if it moved to regular clothes or disappeared.

I just checked, and the red dance clothes are now for sale in regular clothes. I guess those aren't likely to become rare anytime soon.
