We would like to go to Fla. at end of Feb/early March & have a $100 voucher that expires soon. In checking flights, USAir is about $100 more than other airlines. Will their prices come dome?

We booked our feb 21 flights about 4 months ago and got them for $190(taxes inc) for non-stop Pitt-MCO. I think they will drop some....but not around Presidents weekend.

I am looking for tickets for April 21 to 25 (Wednesday to Sunday). The current fare is $367.50! If I return Monday, it's $235. All the airlines are high with the Sunday return. I really need to be back at work Monday, I'm hoping they come down. I checked the seating charts on american express travel and most of the seats are empty!

Hi Debbie! Coincidentally, I am looking for those exact same dates as you, out of Pittsburgh too!;)
I guess we'll have to be patient and wait this one out. Maybe in a month or so, it will start to come down when they see NO ONE will pay that much!

I'm also waiting to book April 3-10 and the fares are way too high out of Philly.

Air Fare is certainly very high for next Spring, I have heard from various travel "experts" that fares will come down a little, but not to what they were after 9/11.

I'm used to paying $168 from buffalo to mco, and I just booked 5 tickets for May on US Air and had to pay $225 each (INC. taxes...)

One consolation is that the flight times are awesome! I've decided that getting to the airport at 5am with 3 children is definetely not my idea of fun!!!

I wouldn't wait too long though, or you'll end up with inconvenient flight times.
