Why is there no history on the rent/trade board?

I like to read history when I have time, so I figured I'd see who was renting points last summer to get some ideas for who to seek out this summer about getting points for summer 2007 (sorry, confusing sentence). Anyway, it doesn't go back further than one month?

There is a setting at the bottom of the page that you can use to adjust how far back the messages go. For example, see this link:

Thanks Bicker. I knew I must just be missing something. I did change the setting but missed the "show threads" button - I kept trying 'refresh' which would not work. Duh!

Hopefully you will be able to find the info. you are seeking. I don't know that it would matter who was renting last summer though as everyone's circumstances are different as to why they are renting and it could very well be that the person you contact that was renting before will be using the points themselves or may not even be owners anymore. Clear as mud?

Calypso's comment is well-taken. Who rented in 2005 has little, if any, bearing on who will be renting in 2007...or in 2006 for 2007.

Your best bet is to get close to the 11-month window for your planned visit (11 months from your check-OUT day) and then post on the Rent/Trade Board. If you have your dates firmly set, you will have much better selection in the 11-month window than you will have within seven months.
