Why is the search function always down?

It seems that the search function is always down lately. Anyone know what's going on? I'm doing some final planning for my trip and hate posting questions I know have already been answered.

I think it's just a matter of when you try. I've gotten the same message and tried again 2 minutes later and it was working. I think it has to do with the amount of users at any one time.

The Search feature is Load-limited - when the site gets busy, it automatically switches off to try and keep the boards moving quickly. Try searching during off-peak times...early in the day or later at night is usually best.

I just used it "LATE" last night with no problem.
