Why is the Magic Kingdom closing so early, May 5&6, m

We taking a spur of the moment weekend getaway next weekend and I noticed the Magic Kingdom is closing early those two nights, but I can't figure out why? What am I missing, tia,

Yes, Grad Nights. Magic Kingdom closes at what, 6 or so? Among other reasons, this gives Disney time to get everyone OUT of the park before the Grad Night attendees arrive for the 11 PM (again, I think; could be 10) opening.
