Of weeks in OCT not the value season? What is going on, I thought since school is there I would get down there cheaper.

Also that time is right in the middle of the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival. That event seems to be gaining in popularity every year.

Halloween and everything related to the MNSSHP are a BIG DEAL at WDW, as is the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. We went one time the last week in October for a special event and the place was packed. It's a VERY POPULAR time of year to visit with the great (still warm) weather and special events.

We were there last year from the 23rd of Oct until the 30th and it wasn't horribly crowded. I agree with the previous posted that Epcot seemed to be really busy and the MNSSHP nights had busses packed with children in costume (we didn't go). Also I thought I read on the boards that October was a popular time for UK holidays and we ran in to quite a few guests that were from the UK. Anyway we had lots of fun and will be back again for our Honeymoon! :goodvibes

Convention season is in full swing and what used to be an empty time to go is not so empty anymore. There is also that one big convention, the one they hold every year that brings in literally millions of dollars for disney, they close the parks at night for this convention, but for the life of me I can't remember the name.
