why is parking a problem?

That's a good idea about another gate to get through. Except that I don't think it is fair to make someone valet if they have a dinner reservation at Flying Fish or the new Italian restaurant (which was very good BTW). Although...someone could show their receipt like the TIW people do.
I see not problems with that. In Jan we went out to Roy's off Sandlake. We had a 5pm reservation. There weren't too many parking spots around since it was in the middle of a busy shopping center and 4 full rows were blocked off by valet :)

At the very least, they can make the gate spit out a parking ticket. If they eat at a Flying Fish, they can get validated, if not then they pay per hour after a few free hours of parking. And proceeds should be split with BWV owners :thumbsup2

I'm not sure this is targeted at the resort guests as why would it mention going to EPCOT. I think this is for people who stay at another resort and want to park there.

I read that as... don't park at BCV to get to world showcase.

Seems odd to have this message directed towards DVC Members.

Isn't that the truth. I just returned from my BCV stay last night. We were there 18 days and every afternoon the folks would be strolling through the Dune Pool after parking in the lot. I can't assume that all were heading to EPCOT, but would bet that many were. Parking is really slim on Friday nights (which is late night at EPCOT, plus the F&G concerts too). I actually got a paper parking pass from the front desk. Using your MB at the toll gate at MK has really slowed things down.

I remember the valet lot at BWV has a gate. Why couldn't they just put in one of those for Guest parking? Guests would either scan their MB or the parking pass. Then visitors would have limited parking spaces and will have to valet if there's no free parking.

Been saying this for years.
