Why is my wireless network called "tsunami?"

It took my 30 minutes to set up and now I am surfing wirelessly in the school library! But the strange thing is that the wireless network is titled "tsunami." You'd think they'd choose something more normal, like "university network" or something like that. I don't want to find out I'm surfing on some illegal network and everthing I type is being recorded. :earseek:

Either way this wireless internet rocks!

It is the default name for a network when you set up a Linsys router.

Yeah - what they said. :cool1:

I've always thought the "SPEED" channel was a bad name too. My husband bores us to death with this channel, but I sit here laughing at some of their ads. I sometimes have to ask myself, who in the world ever thought "SPEED" was such a good name?

You can change the name if you want to. That way you can know for sure that you're logging in to your own wireless network and not another person's who has the same brand of router.

And set up encryption while you're at it! :sunny:
