Why is my screen BLACK?

I tried to sign up for this yesterday. Then and today, when I login, all I get is a pop-up window with an all-black screen!

I noticed today on the login screen it said "Low Bandwidth Warning -
Note: VMK works best when you have a fast connection to the internet. It looks to us like you're on a slow connection. You'll be able to play, but it'll take longer, especially the first time you sign in. Please be patient!"

Well I have been very patient and all I get is black, but the thing is, I have DSL, which is HIGH bandwidth, so what are they talking about?!!!

Try reinstalling shockwave, that may be the problem. Or hold the crtl key down while you log in. Works for me.
