Why is it?

Why on earth is it the more you "want" or "like" someone the further away they are? The guy I like "Adam" used to go to his locker everyday after 3rd,4th period. I have gym 4th and I always went up to my locker and he was by his. But now he's not there anymore. I saw him leave after lunch today. I think he only has classes in the morning which means that he won't be back next year.

It's almost just like settling with the idea that you can't get something that you want really badly but your always filled with the "what if's" and not the real truth. Where as I can't settle with the fact that I really can't "get" him because he's far away.

Though the chance is right there infront of me, I just can't bring myself to do it because i know that it's just something that will never be.

the guy that I 'like' I have four classes with and hes only like a month older than me. so I'll be in his classes for a good while. But I know what you mean. I think you just notice when they are gone more if you like them than you would if you dont.

Exactly, I mean today he walked right behind me and that was my chance but I just couldn't do it. He said to another guy "Man that coffee was REAL good" Right as he walked behind me. When I saw him he looked back at me also. But then this other guy that was walking with him looked at me.

I mean thats how ALL (well almost all of we've got this running joke i start conversations with too but still I don't think my joke would work in your case lol) my conversations with him start. I must have had 6 separate conversations with him today between classes. not counting the ones during class. lol. its really not that hard.

yea, it deffinately helps if you have an inside joke.
ive been talking to this boy i met at a dance. He goes to a different school, but its one of the schools that my school like knows people from i guess. idk its just another private school near by. we have been talking online lately and we have a little inside joke about sports. i told him he needs to learn volleyball and he told me i need to learn how to play tennis, but we are both in disagreement on who will go to whos school so we could teach each other. its cute. but my friend i think is really mad that we are talking, because she is freinds with him, and has been for a while. But she didnt start talking to him again untill the dance. and after he asked me for my sn, she has been weird around me and isnt really talking to me anymore, its kind of sad, cu she was one of my best friends last year.

I've got pictures of us doing it and then when we had like 400 napkins on the table we didn't know what to do with them so we sat them ddown and walked away and then maybe half an hour later someone found all of them.

lol, sounds like fun!!! I just wish my friends would be happy for me, cuz this boy really makes me happy. I cant explain it, I smile ALL the time when we are talking or he writes me a cute message on facebook or something. and no one has ever made me this happy, and i dont think he even knows it... but i just hope my friends get over it soon or at least over spring break.

ok, i was the OP of that board. And yes, I agree we do talk about love alot. but technically there arent like 80% of the threads about love either. there are deffinately more posts about disney. so its not really the same situation.

yea, I like the way he makes me feel. But I dont know what to do about my friends. So, I dont think I'm going to talk to him(unless he decides to talk to me first) untill i get everything straightened out with my friends. because friends come before boys always. i would say the saying but i'll prolly be sensored lol.
