We always ask them if they have gone to the bathroom or need to (BM that is)? I was out in Virginia this weekend visiting with my aunt and family and we had dinner at her house on Sunday. The youngest of my cousins kids came and laid (actually rolled all over) the bed that was made up in the living room (that was where my dad was sleeping so we just never put the couch back together because it's too much work) and complained of his stomach hurting. The automatic response from the females (his mom and his grandma) were if he had gone to the bathroom that day.
So I was sitting there giggling that it is something that I am always asking my daughter when she complains of her stomach hurting...and it's something I hear alot of moms asking their kids....

dh says no he doesnt--if there is a prob they will let us know. She also tries to tell us about hers--I quickly find something that has to be done in another room.
